(source: \"Policy on Handling Cancer in Children\", Denpasar Discussion Forum12, September 8, 2021, dr. Cut Putri Arianie, MHKes, Director of P2PTM \u2013 Directorate General of P2P, Ministry of Health).<\/li><li>Cancer in children can be cured if the best treatment and therapy are carried out as soon as detected.<\/li><li>Due to the length of treatment, inpatient or outpatient children with cancer and\/or other chronic diseases generally are forced to leave school with no other activities to occupy their time.<\/li><li>Children suffering from cancer and\/or other chronic diseases are entitled to an education including the right to play even if they are in the process of treatment and\/or hospitalization.<\/li><li>Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20\/2003 Article 4 paragraph 1 \u2013 concerning the Principles of Education Implementation.<\/li><li>Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20\/2003 Article 5 paragraph 1 \u2013 concerning the Right to Education.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">VISION<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>Facilitate students with cancer and other chronic diseases to participate in learning activities and play during the treatment period, in order not to drop out of school.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">MISSION<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Provide learning and playing opportunities for students at the pre-school, elementary, middle, and high school levels during the treatment and therapy period, to enable them to continue to their next class level in their original school.<\/li><li>Cooperate with nearby schools through local education agencies to become entrusted schools for students to take their national exam.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">SEKOLAH-KU for the continuity of education for children with cancer.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>MY SCHOOL program is given free of charge.<\/li><li>SEKOLAH-KU is supported by professional educators (Bachelor of Education, Psychologists) who carry out Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) according to the government\u2019s standard curriculum.<\/li><li>Especially for children under the age of toddlers, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, SEKOLAH KU is supported by ECCE educators, so that students can continue to the next level (SD) once they are old enough.<\/li><li>SEKOLAH KU establishes communication with the student's home school, to ensure the student\u2019s learning marks is properly transferred.<\/li><li>SEKOLAH-KU enables parents to rest or fill their time with activities while the child is in RUMAH KITA or in the Hospital.<\/li><li>SEKOLAH-KU is in the process of exploring with the Ministry of National Education to obtain an operational permit for a special curriculum for the Teaching and Learning Activities in transit houses and hospitals.<\/li><\/ul><p><span
